For every moment that I see your smile,
My head is happy and my heart is in pain.
I know I don't have anything to lose,
And everything to gain.
I hope that someday you may feel the same,
And know that I'm not playing any games.
I will wait until the end of time,
If only knowing that you will be mine.
Something is burning down deep inside,
Like the big blue ocean has the tide.
It's hard for me to tell how you feel,
I guess I just want to know if it is real.
Nothing happens overnight,
I know this and I will do it right.
Wait for you like the day waits for night,
Just to know that someday I will hold you tight.
I'm not pressuring,
I just don't want to be guessing.
So for this I will wait,
My head is happy and my heart will ache,
BUT YOU KNOW I WILL WAIT.
